The croft has been in the family for generations and we like to offer our guests the best of Highland, hospitality and show them the traditional, crofting lifestyle. On the croft we have chickens, sheep and Highland cattle.

Muirshearlich Hills, the backdrop of the croft, all make for easy walking. The more adventurous can walk or climb mighty Ben Nevis and the many other Munroes in the area or try the numerous forest walks and cycle paths of the Great Glen Way.

Cycle along the canal up to Neptune’s staircase, a series of eight locks at the entrance to the Caledonian Canal. Watch the boats go up and down on their way between Inverness and Fort William then have a bite to eat at the Moorings Hotel. Travel “the Road to the Isles” a route steeped in history where Bonnie Prince Charlie found safety and security in this lovely area of the Scottish Highlands.

Other activities include:

  • Fort Augustus for boat trips on Loch Ness

  • Isles of Mull and Skye

  • Fort William, Inverness and Oban for shopping

  • Nevis Range for gondola rides, skiing, mountain biking riding walking for all abilities

  • Horse-riding, waterspouts, quad-biking
